Coast rolls past Seahawks, 5-1
LOS ANGELES -- The OCC Women's soccer team made it four wins in a row to start the 2012 season, thanks to a 5-1 win at L.A. Harbor on Friday.
It was a team effort, with five different Pirates scoring goals, led by Sara Gomez, who had a goal and two assists. Courtney Garrity and Sarah MacArthur each added a goal and an assist, while single goals were turned in by Emma Pridmore and Lauren Zepeda.
The Pirates open up Orange Empire Conference play this week. Coast will play at Cypress on Tuesday at 3 p.m. before hosting defending OEC champ and state runner-up Santiago Canyon on Friday, also at 3 p.m.
