Coast to host silent auction at boathouse
COSTA MESA -- The Orange Coast College women's crew will be hosting a silent auction down at the OCC Boathouse on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
All are invited to attend and the cost is $20 at the door, which will include a raffle ticket for the door prizes.
For those who cannot attend, but would like to contribute, there is also an online site for the event, which is www.biddingforgood.com/orangecoastcollege/womenscrew.
In addition to the silent auction, women's crew will also be celebrating its 20th year of rowing at Orange Coast and on March 9-10, the Pirates will host their annual Alumni Weekend.
On March 9, there will be a reception and Harbor cruise from 5-8 p.m. at the OCC Boathouse and on March 10, there will be a barbecue and alumni row from 10-12 p.m., also at the boathouse.
